A trying time
A trying time
Trying to endure much
Much of my time
Is spent trying as such
But such is life
And life is so hard
For hard times are much
Much time is spent scarred
For I've tried for some time
To endure all this pain
But it feels doing such
Is often in vain
Though vain it may be
Will life always be trying
For harder than living
Is dealing with dying

i hope you are okay. no one ever said life was fair and easy. later you learn that in order to truly live and be happy you essentially have to die to yourself, so the last two lines of your poem are so true... we only survive this life with God who walks with us during the hard times, all the time..... i will pray for you Ralph, things will get better, turn to God.......... believe me i know--ann
